The society is part of
the oldest aquarium club in Queensland named (The Aquarium And Terrarium
Society of Queensland;)
because of this the club has accumulated a wealth of knowledge since it
began in 1926.
This has been achieved
through hobby experience,(old and new) than field trips to collect the
creatures we desire for our aquariums from the habitats they come from
originally, thus enabling us to see first hand, how they live their lives
and the functioning of the ocean to help build on our already valuable
experiences.
