Anemones

*. Temp---Tropical-20 to 28-Southern-18 to 26.

*. Conditions---Good PH.Over all current. Broad-spectrum lighting. Low to 0 nitrates. Need to get close to the light.

*. Negatives---Will move at times. Sting some other tank inhabitants. Need regular food. Block pumps or exits or overflows.

*. Positives---Except for an unnecessary home for your clown fish, some colour, there are no positives.

*. Food---Filter feeding food and larger chunks of meat creatures and algae. Your clowns may feed them or you can directly place the food into them.

*. Breeding---They breed both ways, though the most successful way in an aquarium is by dividing. Most anemones will divide as well, but a few will only multiply by eggs and sperm.

*. Comments---Some creatures bother them like angelfish, chaetodons and some crustaceans. They may go white except for there pinkish tips. This means the alga living in them has been expelled.

Corallimorphs

*. Temp---20 to 28.

*. Medium to high quality water conditions. Weak broad-spectrum lighting, or place in a shaded areas. Lite, over all current. Constant good PH.

*. Negatives---None.

*. Positives---Easy to keep, Good variation in colours.

*. Food---Fine filter food and trace elements are needed.

*. Breeding---They will multiply if food and low light conditions are met. Preferably good fluro lighting for these.

*. Comments---These creatures like gentle conditions. They can be made to multiply by cutting sections like a piece of pizza. Take the cut to include some of its mouth at the point of the slice. Then place it where you want it to stay. Preferably in a separate breeding environment.
